The R-Spec Adaptor is simply screwed into place on the oil filter housing utilizing one of the existing blanked off holes making it ready for the oil temperature sensor to be screwed into place with very little effort. This adaptor has been machined for better circulation around the sensor resulting in more accurate tempertaure readings. As with any hydraulic installation thread sealant should be used.
