MAC 4 port solenoids are generally used for perfecting boost control on aftermarket external wastegate applications. This superior boost control solenoid only has a 2 wire installation, the port connections are also detailed making overall installation very easy. These are the perfectionist tuners choice when using standard or aftermarket ECU's to control boost on external wastegate set ups etc as they are perfect for achieving higher boost thresholds on applications using softer wastegate springs, these 4 port solenoids add another dimension to aftermarket boost control and allow much finer and perfected boost control.
    
The 4 port boost control solenoid valve is designed for use in applications which target a clearly defined boost curve. Capable of much improved boost response and in some cases with a soft wastegate spring - quicker spool. The 4 port design works equally well in low boost applications as high boost. This differs from a traditional 3 port valve because it precisely directs pressure to the open and close ports of your waste-gate diaphragm. This allows much lower waste-gate spring pressure for better low gear boost control and perfect high gear, high boost control.
